LAF Awards Over $34,000 in May Discretionary Grants
The Lubbock Area Foundation is pleased to announce the distribution of grants for the May Discretionary Grants cycle. Funds are awarded to nonprofits in the South Plains region in good standing and selected from applications received in April.
The total amount awarded was $34,080.00 to ten agencies.

In addition to these grants, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper’s PSC Building Community Fund also distributed two grants during this cycle to CASA and The Somewhere Here Again Foundation.All grants are approved by the Lubbock Area Foundation Grants Committee and ratified by the Lubbock Area Foundation Board of Directors.The next deadline for Community Grant applications is September 1, 2015 and the information and application can be found at www.lubbockareafoundation.org.
